At 621 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Leland, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Leland, Suttons Bay, Lake Leelanau, Peshawbestown, Omena, and Good
Harbor.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
