* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and southeast Mississippi, including the following counties, in central Mississippi, Scott and Smith. In east central Mississippi, Jasper and Newton. In southeast Mississippi, Covington, Forrest, Jones and Lamar. * WHEN...Through Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Conditions will be favorable for flash flooding. Heavy rainfall rates at times are likely.
