Description:
At 546 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Pinedale, or 10 miles west of New Albany, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
New Albany, Pontotoc, Trace State Park, Ecru, New Harmony, Etta,
Furrs, Pinedale, Sherman, Thaxton, Blue Springs, Hortontown,
Poolville, Esperanza, Endville, Cherry Creek, Ellistown, Rough Edge,
Nixon, and Martintown.
This includes Interstate 22 in Mississipppi between mile markers 66
and 78.
