...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Louisiana...Mississippi... Bogue Chitto River Near Bush affecting St. Tammany Parish. West Hobolochitto Creek Near McNeil affecting Pearl River County. East Hobolochitto Creek Near Caesar affecting Pearl River County. .Rivers are falling and expected to follow that general downward trend in the coming days. For the Bogue Chitto River...including Tylertown, Franklinton, Bush...Minor flooding is forecast. For the West Hobolochitto Creek...including McNeil...Moderate flooding is forecast. For the East Hobolochitto Creek...including Caesar...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...West Hobolochitto Creek near McNeil. * WHEN...Until Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, North Beech Road and Palestine Road in Picayune will be impassable. Several homes will be flooded in vicinity of the stream. Flooding threatens structures along MS Highway 43 near the bridge and fills culverts and ditches along bridge approach. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 20.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 PM CDT Friday was 20.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late Monday morning and continue falling to 9.0 feet Wednesday evening. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 20.2 feet on 09/27/2002. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
