...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Mississippi...
Leaf Near McLain affecting Perry, Greene and George Counties.
For the Leaf River...including McLain, New Augusta...Moderate
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Leaf near McLain.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Some county roads in the area will become
flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 22.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.5 feet
early Tuesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
