Tallahala Creek At Laurel affecting Jones County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Tallahala Creek at Laurel. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 16.5 feet, Water begins to affect building on the right bank just downstream near Highway 15. Several other buildings further downstream are affected as well. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 16.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.0 feet this morning. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
