* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of central and east central Mississippi, including the following counties, in central Mississippi, Leake. In east central Mississippi, Clarke, Kemper, Lauderdale and Neshoba. * WHEN...Through Thursday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Conditions will be favorable for flash flooding. Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are expected with high rainfall rates at times. Storm totals of 4-6 inches, with locally higher amounts, are likely in a short amount of time. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
