* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Northwestern Harrison County in southern Mississippi...
* Until 1130 AM CDT.
* At 1056 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles west of
Saucier, or 16 miles north of Diamondhead, moving northeast at 30
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Harrison County.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM CDT for southern
Mississippi.
