- At 1221 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicate
that as much as 1 to 3 inches of rain has already fallen today,
or will yet fall in parts of the Advisory area within the next
hour. As a result, mainly minor flooding is likely ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the Advisory area. Fortunately, very
little additional rain is expected through most of this afternoon
into early evening, which should allow excessive runoff to
gradually recede. However, additional heavy rain is possible this
evening and overnight, which could result in additional flooding
issues.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Moores Creek, Deer Creek, Sand Creek, Silver Creek, Black Hill
Creek, Prairie Creek, Death Creek, Buckeye Creek, Beaver Creek,
Mud Creek, Lincoln Creek, Cedar Creek, Flat Creek and Dry Creek.
- Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Gibbon, Ravenna, Wood River, Shelton, Doniphan, Alda, Pleasanton
and Poole.
