Big Blue River Near Barneston affecting Gage County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Big Blue River near Barneston.
* WHEN...Until Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Increasing farmlands flood along the
bottomlands.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 25.1 feet Saturday evening. It
will then fall below flood stage late Sunday evening.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 25.1
feet on 05/07/1978.

Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
