Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall over Secret Pass burn
scar is expected.
* WHERE...Southeastern Elko County in northeastern Nevada...
* WHEN...Until 445 PM PDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas and
over Secret Pass burn scar. Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 251 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding
is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
Between 0.1 and 0.2 inches of rain have fallen.

Mainly rural areas of Southeastern Elko County.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Move away from recently burned areas. Life-threatening flooding of
creeks, roads and normally dry arroyos is likely. The heavy rains
will likely trigger rockslides, mudslides and debris flows in steep
terrain, especially in and around these areas.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
