Description:
* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures up to 111
degrees possible.
* WHERE...Chaves County Plains.
* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat events.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The hottest temperatures will be in the Pecos
River Valley, including Roswell.
Instruction:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
