Description:
* WHAT...Temperatures up to 106 in lower elevation locations and up
to 95 in the mountains.
* WHERE...Middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro
Area, Sandia and Manzano Mountains including Edgewood, West Central
Highlands, Lower Rio Grande Valley, Upper Tularosa Valley, South
Central Mountains, Chaves County Plains, Eastern Lincoln County,
and Southwest Chaves County.
* WHEN...From noon to 8 PM MDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures will be hottest in Chaves County
and the Lower Rio Grande Valley where highs up to 106 are expected.
Temperatures between 100 and 102 are expected in the Albuquerque
Metro Area.
Instruction:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
