At 414 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Old Ford, or 8 miles south of Williamston, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Washington, Plymouth, River Road, Belhaven, Sladesville, Ponzer,
Scranton, Pinetown, Pungo, Wenona, Hinson, Bunyan, Pike Road,
Leechville, Winsteadville, Sidney Crossroads, Westover, Pleasant
Grove, Terra Ceia, and Scuppernong.
