Description:
At 529 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles northeast
of Lostwood, or 21 miles north of Stanley, moving southeast at 35
mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
Locations impacted include...
Kenmare and Niobe.
Another strong to severe storm was located over Kenmare, also moving
southeast around 35 mph.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
