Description:
At 643 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 3 miles south of Cache to 3 miles northeast of Faxon
to 7 miles northwest of Cookietown, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Lawton, Walters, Cache, Geronimo, Chattanooga, Faxon, and southern
Fort Sill.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
