...Critical Fire Weather Conditions Tuesday Afternoon...
.Breezy northeast winds with gusts around 30 mph are expected as
relative humidity drops below 20 percent across portions of the
Columbia Basin of Oregon Tuesday Afternoon.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 691 Lower Columbia Basin of
Oregon.
* TIMING...From 11 AM this morning to 8 PM PDT this evening.
* WINDS...Northeast 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 12 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
