Description:
* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, northeast winds 15 to 25 kt
and seas 7 to 10 feet expected. For the Hurricane Watch,
hurricane conditions possible.
* WHERE...Big Island Windward Waters.
* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, from 6 PM this evening to 6
PM HST Friday. For the Hurricane Watch, 6 PM Friday through 6 PM
Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Extremely strong winds will cause hazardous seas which
will likely capsize or damage vessels and severely reduce
visibility.
Instruction:
Mariners should remain in port, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for extreme conditions before conditions deteriorate
further.
