Description:
* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, east winds 15 to 20 kt
with gusts up to 25 kt. For the Hurricane Watch, east winds 35
to 45 kt with gusts up to 65 kt and seas 17 to 22 ft.
* WHERE...Coastal waters from Mexico Beach to Okaloosa Walton
County Line FL out 20 NM, Coastal waters from Mexico Beach to
Apalachicola FL out 20 NM, Waters from Mexico Beach to
Okaloosa Walton County Line FL from 20 to 60 NM and Waters
from Apalachicola to Mexico Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM.
* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 7 AM CDT Thursday.
For the Hurricane Watch, Tropical Storm force winds possible
from Friday morning until early Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...Extremely strong winds will cause hazardous seas
which will likely capsize or damage vessels and severely
reduce visibility.
Instruction:
Mariners should remain in port, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for extreme conditions before conditions deteriorate
further.
