Description:
* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, northeast winds 15 to 20
kt with gusts up to 25 kt and seas 4 to 6 ft. For the
Hurricane Watch, east winds 50 to 70 kt with gusts up to 100
kt and seas 25 to 30 ft.
* WHERE...Coastal waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS out
20 NM, Coastal waters from Okaloosa Walton County Line FL to
Pensacola FL out 20 NM, Waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula
MS from 20 to 60 NM and Waters from Okaloosa Walton County
Line FL to Pensacola FL from 20 to 60 NM.
* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 11 PM CDT this
evening. For the Hurricane Watch, Tropical Storm force winds
possible from Friday morning until early Saturday morning.
Hurricane force winds possible from Friday afternoon until
early Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...Hurricane force winds and hazardous seas can capsize
or damage vessels and severely reduce visibility.
Instruction:
Mariners should remain in port, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for extreme conditions before conditions deteriorate
further.
