Description:
* WHAT...East winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 60 kt and seas
12 to 17 ft.
* WHERE...Lake Borgne and all of the bays and open Gulf waters
west of the Mississippi River.
* WHEN...Tropical Storm force winds possible today.
* IMPACTS...Tropical storm force winds and hazardous seas will
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
Instruction:
Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for hazardous conditions.

Lake Borgne; Terrebonne Bay; Barataria Bay; Coastal Waters from Port Fourchon LA to Lower Atchafalaya River LA out 20 nm; Coastal waters from the Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to Port Fourchon Louisiana out 20 NM; Coastal waters from Port Fourchon Louisiana to Lower Atchafalaya River LA from 20 to 60 NM; Coastal waters from Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to Port Fourchon Louisiana from 20 to 60 NM
