Description:
* WHAT...South winds 15 to 20 kt this afternoon increasing to 25
to 35 knots tonight, with gusts to 45 knots possible. Winds will
shift to southwest on Wednesday. Seas will build to 4 to 6 feet
tonight and 7 to 10 ft Wednesday.
* WHERE...Portions of Gulf of America.
* WHEN...Through Wednesday Night.
* IMPACTS...Tropical storm force winds and hazardous seas could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
Instruction:
Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and seas.
