Description:
At 434 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Dillon, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and torrential rainfall.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Dillon, Latta, Lake View, Sellers, Fork, Brownsville, Oak Grove,
Bingham, Floydale, Kemper, Little Rock, Minturn, Smithboro, and
Mcleod Medical Center.
This includes Interstate 95 in South Carolina between mile markers
179 and 195.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
