Description: 
At 1246 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles west of Baxter to near Cookeville to 10 miles east of Sparta. Movement was northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Cookeville, Crossville, Sparta, Livingston, Gainesboro, Algood, Monterey, Baxter, Pleasant Hill, Grimsley, Hamptons Crossroads, Virgin Falls State Natural Area, Burgess Falls State Park, Rickman, Clarkrange, Crawford, Cummins Falls State Park, Standing Stone State Park, and Bakers Crossroads. This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 270 and 317.
