Description:
At 600 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Madisonville, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Vonore, Greenback, Fort Loudon State Park, Citico Beach, Tariffville,
McGee Carson Peninsula, Talassee, and Deals Gap.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
east Tennessee.
