Description: 
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Southwestern Jim Hogg County in deep south Texas... Central Starr County in deep south Texas... * WHEN...Until 745 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 725 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rio Grande City, Viboras, El Sauz, La Rosita, Garciasville, Guerra, Rio Grande City Municipal Airport, Starr County Sheriffs Office, Fort Ringgold County Park, Garceno, Rio Grande City Fire Department, Los Alvarez, Ringgold Middle School, Starr County Memorial Hospital, Las Lomas, Los Garzas, La Puerta, Santa Cruz, Rio Grande City Library and Rio Grande City--roma. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain. Arroyos, streams, and rivers can become raging killer currents in a matter of minutes, even from distant rainfall.
