For the Rio Grande...including Laredo...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Rio Grande at Laredo.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to late Wednesday night.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 2.2 feet (0.7 meters).
- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet (2.1 meters).
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this afternoon to a crest of 10.5 feet (3.2 meters) this evening.
It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet (2.4 meters).
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.5
feet (3.2 meters) on 09/20/1991.
