* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following counties, Brazoria and Galveston. * WHEN...Until noon CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 851 AM CDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This is causing small stream flooding. - Minor flooding is in progress along Old Chigger Creek near SH 35 and Windsong Lane. This will likely be transitioned to an Areal Flood Warning once rainfall comes to an end later this morning. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Southwestern League City, southwestern Friendswood, Alvin and Santa Fe. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
