Description:
At 1013 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Hobbs, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Hamlin, Rotan, Roby, Sylvester, Hobbs, Longworth, Mccaulley, Hitson,
Gannon, Busby, and Capitola.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
west central Texas.
