Description:
At 1121 AM CDT, Local law enforcement reported roads closed as
thunderstorms produce heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3
and 5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 4 to
6 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 5 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Tomball, The Woodlands, Spring, Oak Ridge North, Shenandoah,
Woodloch, The Woodlands Pavillion, Chateau Woods and Hooks Airport.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
