* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northern Jim Wells County in south central Texas... Northwestern Kleberg County in south central Texas... Northwestern Nueces County in south central Texas... Southwestern San Patricio County in south central Texas... * WHEN...Until 130 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1130 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
