Description:
At 912 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Kegley to 6 miles northwest of Glen Burke, moving east
at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Grundy, Gary, War, Northfork, Bradshaw, Anawalt, Jolo, Oakwood,
Stacy, Maybeury, Elbert, Cucumber, Jenkinjones, and Vansant.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM EDT for southern West
Virginia.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
