Description:
At 353 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Laramie Peak to 8
miles northeast of Wheatland Reservoir Number 3. Movement was east at
25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Windy Peak, Flying X Ranch, Wheatland Reservoir Number 3, Garrett,
Friend Park Campground, Laramie Peak, Harris Park, and Esterbrook.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT for southeastern
and east central Wyoming.
